The Magical Journey
Ramsi Geiser

Ms. Kelsall 5th Grade

One warm bright sunny day in a little village lived two sisters. Ramsi, the oldest of the sisters loved staying inside and crafting and disliked getting dirty. Lindsay, the youngest of the sisters loved playing outside with Jasmine the curly long haired dog, and wouldn’t care if she got dirty, and also loved any kind of animal. One normal day Lindsay spotted a wolf that was dirty, hairy, and had spots all over it. Lindsay did not like this animal.

The wolf whispered a secret to Lindsay and said, “If you do not find the golden mystery in two days than the village will vanish”. Without a second to waste, Lindsay ran into the house and without taking a break Lindsay said to Ramsi, “ I just saw a wolf that told me if I do not find the” uh, uh she thought for a minute and said, “ o the golden mystery in two days than the whole village will vanish”. Ramsi said, “Why do we have to find it and anyways I dislike doing on adventures, because the trees make roaring noises and the grass says I will eat you”. Then a voice said, “You girls have to do it because you have the power”. In a second the girls felt a rush though their body and changed their thoughts and immediately they wanted to go on an adventure. When they got the rush though their body they saw an image of a golden horse. The voice said again, “This creature is a very hard animal to catch”. That night the girls had had a dream that they were going to lose someone for a day.

The next day the girls woke-up they told each other about their dreams. After a moment had pasted by the girls were ready to go on their adventure. But before they got to the door a magical blanket came and the same voice said, “If you let anyone physically touch it, then you will never be seen AGAIN”. As the blanket stood in front of them, they girls looked at the blanket and then looked at each other and then hopped on. In a second the girls were in the middle of the forest. As the girls started to walk around they saw something fall from the sky but that was only Jasmine, the dog. As they started to walk around a little more the heard a real loud noise and got scared and jumped back. As they jumped back Ramsi fell and got caught on a stick and started to scream, and she screamed so loud that the ground started to shake. Then a big hole started to form and Ramsi was getting caught inside of it and started to slowly disappear inch by inch. When Ramsi had clearly disappeared, Lindsay yelled in her most thunderous voice, “NOOOOO!” In the meantime, the same voice whispered to Lindsay, “If you can find the horse in a day then your sister will be saved but since you have lost your sister you have to find the horse and a monkey”. In an even louder voice she yelled, “NOOOOOOOO”. Then Lindsay asked, “How will I find one animals without my sister”. Several hours later Lindsay started to fall asleep by the trees singing a soothing song to her, and every step she took made her sleepier and sleepier, and soon enough she got so sleepy that she fell down but before she hit the ground a bed caught her and she was fast asleep.

When Lindsay woke-up by a good dream that she would save the whole entire village, she had realized that she had sleep for 14 hours and only had an hour left to find her sister. She had walked a long way when she was stopped by a horse that looked like a giant. The horse was as high as a house and as wide as an elephant. The horse had silver, gold, crystals, and gems all over it. In a second Lindsay’s sister started coming back and as soon as she came back to life, Lindsay ran over to Ramsi and said, “I really missed you”. All of a sudden the horse started slowly started floating up and the voice said, “Now all you have to find is the monkey. The next morning the girls woke-up early as the day went on they found no clues and as the girls got farther into the forest they heard a noise that sounded like a monkey. Out of the bushes came a 9 foot tall monkey that stood right in front of the two sisters. As they looked at the gigantic monkey Ramsi, and Lindsay’s eyes almost popped out of their head.

The next thing they heard when they turned around was the whole village cheering them on. When they turned back around, they saw the wolf walk towards them and the wolf said, “I will always remember you as the two bravest sisters”. And the wolf and the whole village said to Ramsi and Lindsay, “We cannot thank you girls enough”. Since that day the girls would always remember the day when they saved their whole village!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Day I Did a Cartwheel

I was at the park with my dad wearing my favorite pair of slip on tennis shoes. My dad asked me to do one of my cartwheels. So as usual I did a cartwheel, but since my shoes are slip on, my shoe flew off my foot and hit my dad in the head.

After I was done doing the cartwheel, I saw that my dad was unconscious. So I pulled out my phone and called 911. Once my dad and I were at the hospital, the doctor said that my dad needed a CAT scan. When my dad went to get the CAT scan, the doctor said that they found a tumor. So my dad went to get the surgery to remove the tumor.

After the surgery a doctor came up to me and said, “One of my interns dropped a pair of scissors and they cut a hole in your dad’s shoulder, we were about to stitch it up when we noticed that your dad has cancer in his shoulder.

So for a few weeks my dad went through alot of surgeries, but he died anyway. At my dad's funeral, his last request was that I do a cartwheel, and weirdly, I was wearing the same shoes. When I did the cartwheel one of my shoes slipped off and hit my mom..........
