Class Economy
By: Tatum MacCarter
Mr. Dotson’s middle school class has created their own class economy. Each student is paid in a system of Caurus cash. There is a regular salary of 200 dollars a week. This amount can increase or decrease depending on the students behavior, grades, and responsibilities. Just like in the real world there are bills to pay. Once a month each student has to pay 75 dollars to Mr. Dotson. 25 dollars as rent for their chair and 50 dollars as rent for their desk, unless they would like to stand in class. J
At the end of each school quarter the students remaining money may be spent in auctions for various prizes and/or new school supplies. So, middle school students go grab your cash, auction for prizes and have a BLAST!!!
